Istead Rise Community Association is a community benefit society, which means it is owned by its members and run for the good of the community rather than for profit. The centre is led by a committee of local volunteers, elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting.
The committee looks after the running of the centre and bar, the upkeep of the building, the events programme and the association’s finances. Any member is welcome to raise ideas, lend a hand or stand for election.
